Terms of Sale
By purchasing from Oréa ("we," "us," "our"), you agree to the following terms.
- One-of-a-kind pieces. Items in the Gallery and Archive are unique, vintage, or antique. Once sold, they cannot be restocked or reproduced. All sales of Gallery and Archive pieces are final.
- Small Finds. Items listed in the Shop section may be returned within 14 days of delivery in their original, unworn condition, for a refund or exchange, unless stated otherwise for that specific item.
- Descriptions and condition. We describe each piece's era, materials, and condition to the best of our knowledge. Vintage and antique items may show signs of age consistent with their history; this is not considered a defect unless stated otherwise.
- Pricing. All prices are listed in [USD] and do not include applicable sales tax or shipping, which will be calculated at checkout.
- Payment. Payments are processed securely through [Stripe/Square]. We do not store your full payment card details.
Consignment
Pieces accepted on consignment are governed by a separate written consignment agreement signed by both Oréa and the consignor, which takes precedence over these general terms for that specific piece.
Shipping
- Items are shipped insured and, for pieces over [$500], require a signature on delivery.
- Oréa is not responsible for items lost or damaged in transit once proof of insured shipment has been provided; a claim will be filed with the carrier on your behalf.
- International shipping may be subject to customs fees and import duties, which are the responsibility of the buyer.
Privacy Policy
Oréa collects only the information needed to respond to inquiries and fulfill orders:
- Information we collect: name, email address, and any details you share through our consultation, consignment, or sourcing forms.
- How we use it: to respond to your inquiry, process an order, or fulfill a sourcing request. We do not sell or share your information with third parties for marketing purposes.
- Payment information: handled entirely by our payment processor [Stripe/Square]; Oréa does not receive or store your full card details.
- Your rights: you may request a copy of, correction to, or deletion of your information at any time by contacting oreasupport@oreacuration.com.
Limitation of Liability
Oréa's liability for any claim related to a purchase is limited to the amount paid for that item. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of [Connecticut], without regard to conflict of law principles.
